As you would probably have
guessed, the coastal city of Brighton
does a very good line in seafood. But
there is plenty more on offer, with worldwide cuisines easy to find in one of
the city’s 400 cafes and restaurants.
There are plenty of places to eat cheaply too, especially in a number of
high-quality, low-price vegetarian restaurants so popular with Brighton's
bohemian clientele. For those seeking an
upmarket afternoon tea, you can't do better than the Grand Hotel, and if you're
not afraid of a little grease there are plenty of take-away places along the
pier, the seafront and in the centre of town.
And if you find you’ve overdone it on the weekend, why not stop at a pub
for a traditional seaside Sunday lunch.
It won’t take you long before you realise that whatever food you fancy,
in Brighton it will be just round the corner!
